No More Boathouse

These are the sad times.

"Thanks for all the support over the past 14 months, more importantly the last 9 years. The city has forced me out due to arrears in utilities. I signed a contract that was based on certain conditions so that the business could be viable. The renovation funds were delayed and never made available. Thus making it impossible to break even. I have been trying to negotiate a solution, with the city, for months with no success. I received a hand delivered letter, with a duplicate mailed to me, plus an email all stating arrears to be paid by 3:30pm today or doors would be locked today. It kills me to say goodbye to our boathouse but I am left no choice."
