I missed my chance to buy then new 7" single to the new Cribs single Glitters Like Gold (sold out). Watching this cheers me up.
I decided to make a playlist for the epic GBV weekend in September. Cleveland and Pittsburgh. Cannot wait.
Here are a couple of stills from my latest animation for The Twilight Zone.

I have an on going and ever growing YouTube playlist of my favorite videos of the 90s. Hit play at your next party, gather around your computer, and get tankard.
Gary is going to see the Mighty Modest Mouse tomorrow in Pittsburgh, and posted this documentary on his bad ass blog. I just watched this this morning and loved it. I suggest you do the same.
Too great.
I got inspired by the Star Trek animation I posted earlier today, so I spent a couple of hours this afternoon making this. The idea is to fill it with famous Twilight Zone imagery. We will see how it looks when and if I finish it.

I just came across this on Vimeo and LOVE it. I wish I made it.
A rather laid back/somewhat boring weekend. No one really around/wants to do anything. Got my Sub Pop package which pumped me up. Saturday I finally found a bike so Laura and I went through the Grand River trails and shit which was pretty sweet....even if my ass kills.
Saturday night we decided to light up the fire pit and watch Dazed and Confused on the side of our shed.
Hit up Orange Monkey and finally got the new GBV, as well as a Screaming Trees record. All in all not a bad weekend, but could be made more fun if there were more people around.

I started working on a poster for the I RAZOR film which will be shown at Heedfest. Steve Five asked if I wanted to make a poster, to make it up like this old poster for CARRY ON SERGEANT! Ill see how it turns out. If its shit I will ditch it, if its good Ill send it to Steve.
I still need to add a ton more images of characters, and text. Its a good start.
Work in progress... |

I hit up the Sub Pop website and ended up spending some money. Some one stop me!
New Obits 7". 5 bucks. Amazing cover art.
The classic Sub Pop/LOSER shirt, as seen above worn by Tad.
Pissed Jeans 7". Sam Kinison Woman is Top 3 songs of 2011. Love it.
A truly amazing, and full length documentary on Return of the Living Dead.
I am way too happy and excited for the new Bronx album, which they finished recording. I hope it is out soon, but until then I will crank their first album. One the best punk rock albums of all time.
