This weekend felt like October - cold and wet and dark. Friday though was good times. Laurent came down from the North Bays, and we hit up the KW Supply, and we finally got to eat at Crazy Canuck in Waterloo. Beerce and fire pits out back with some pals, and then an impromptu Simpsons marathon on The Serpentine Pad Drive-In screen.
Mogwai is doing some insane 3 disc, 6 vinyl career spanning collection this year, but even cooler is this brand new video for their old classic Helicon 1. This is probably top 3 Mogwai tunes for me, and coupled with that my love of film/grain, this video has me too excited.
Had some Fathers Day lunch, moved some tables, and then relaxed with some beerce and some slow cooked ribs. Threw these fuckers in, and 5 hours later they were done and Laura pulled into the driveway from a weekend in Windsor. Good times.
The beauty part of slow cooked ribs is being able to take cat naps.
