Here it is, the title sequence for the series Kitchener Sync. As with most of my stuff, I kind of just made this up as I went along. Lyndon wanted a Saul Bass type intro and I hope thats what he got. I did go so far as to download a bunch of Saul's posters and ads, and used those to sample colours. There were a couple of shots that I had in mind that I really wanted to do, but I just didn't have the time. I might be adding in a shot or two later on, but for now, here is the final version.

We caught Hesher looking under the stove for a good hour, so we assumed the mice are back in tahn. Sure enough, the next morning we noticed a couple of things knocked over, a sure sign that Hesher has been sprinting around the house, and then we spotted the mouse. Hesher spent the whole day hunting this little guy. When we got home from work, Hesher was sleeping and mellow. Meaning she either gave up, or she already made her kill.
I noticed she was in the corner of the kitchen staring at the one garbage bin. I assumed she was back to hunting, but we would later find out that she was trying to tell us where the carcass was.
Eventually, I jokingly said to Laura "be careful there, there might be a dead mouse." Sure enough! There it was.
Look at my smugly proud little buddy! Move over Walter Palmer.
Friday night we hit up the Big Shitty to see the Cribs play a tiny club, for roughly 200 jackt fans. Shockingly enough, the fans in Toronto were dancing, singing, drinking, and having fun. No folded arms at this show. Thats the power of the Cribs.
Also, they closed with Pink Snow from their new album. Easily one of my fave Cribs tracks of all time.
While I always love lighting up a fire out back, something about this fall type weather makes the backyard fire pit that much more enjoyable. Cooking on that fucker is so fun for some reason, even when its cooking in the dark due to the earlier sunsets these days.
Also, these BBQ Bags are awesome. Light the bag, and the charcoal is ready to go in a couple of minutes.
This past weekend was a much needed weekend at home. After an entire summer of running around, traveling, and spending money, it felt amazing to stay home and relax. We had a couple of fire pits, each of which was ruined by rain the one night, and then a skunk that was in attack mode. As an added bonus Ned gave me a bottle of Beer Thousand, which is now on our booze shelf.
Fall is coming!
