I did a Christmas horror movie compilation for the folks at Rendevous in LA. In return they sent me the newly released US version of Black Christmas on Bluray. Classic film.
I always wanted a Mustang Bass ever since seeing Chris Murphy rocking one with the Sloans. I had my eye on this new bass for a while now, and decided it was time. Stoked to learn some jams, and go make some noise with Jim and Treephones.
I sold off half of that box of records that were in the parents basement, and used that money to buy some CDs at Encore. I am really not a "Live Album" kind of guy, but I am a Ween kind of guy. NB sent me a download link to the new Ween live album, and it sounded awesome, so I felt obliged to buy it. It rips, and sounds awesome in the Brid.
Pappa B was about to toss out this old box of records of mine that was sitting in his garage for probably the past 8 years or so. I am pretty positive this is an old box of albums that Kevins dad gave me. I forgot about its existence. There are a couple of gems in there.

Torin Langen contacted me about animating a new company logo for him. He emailed me a storyboard idea, and we took it from there.
We played around with some text treatments, but we both loved the font from the Boards of Canada album Tomorrow's Harvest, so we ended up going with that type.

Threw on one of my favourite comedies the other night, and laughed my ass off. This is easily one of the funniest flicks ever made. Never gets old.
Pappa B came over on the weekend to help (rather, I helped him) tile the Serpentine Pad Pooper. Its looking pretty not bad.
