I hit up that bad ass antiques shop by the St Jacobs market, and picked up a couple more boxes for my 7" records. One of the boxes came with a fuck load of 45 adapters so I spent some time alphabetizing, and installing adapters that day. Dork, I know.
I also hit up one of my favourite, and one of the last existing video stores that I know of, Far Out Flicks. The owner still has a massive pile of videos in the basement that he is constantly putting out at random times, so I usually find some gems. His buy 2 get 1 free sale is still on too. I was stoked to find Scream Blackula Scream.
As with any other Jesus holiday, Jeremy has come back to tahn for hangs. It was relatively low key, byt Saturday we had a mini pub crawl with Bones where we hit White Rabbit, Rhapsody, and Grand Trunk Saloon. The following day we hit up the Bones and Tara surprise Engagement party. The rest of the weekend was spent eating and relaxing.

This is what I was like after eating at the folks. |
I just stepped out on my lunch break to grab some grub at home, and then hit the shop to pick up the latest Cauldron disc. I have really dug the couple of songs that I heard. While I will always love Goat Horn more, Cauldron has some killer tunes.
I LOVE the album art on this one as well. Great use of the classic Serif Gothic font.
BONUS VIDEO: I just found out they put out a 7" with the Gowen cover of Moonlight Desires. I instantly had to order it.

The other day Laura was rocking her leather jacket and chucks, and she happened to be by the brick wall in our driveway, so I had to snap a Ramones shot.
It was time to get a new grill for the season as our old BBQ bottomed out. We hit up the Canadian Tire, and found a sweet ass deal on an overstock BBQ from last season. Got $150 bucks off on this baby. It took about 2 hours to put together, but the 10 minutes it took to cook the steak was worth it. The cast iron grill is unreal. Go spring.
Its almost that time! My favourite weekend of the year! Going dahn to Pittsburgh next month for two whole nights of films and Yuenglings. I cannot wait.
Here is a pretty neat mini documentary I found about last years event.
