Started painting and ripping out all the carpet upstairs.  New floors coming in this weekend, with Matthew coming up from Tilbury, where I will fuel him with Smokehouse BBQ and Miller Lites.

Had a sweet score at the 'Core this past friday.  New Pissed Jeans and King Gizzard, as well as the latest Mike Krol album.  The Pissed Jeans cover is especially awesome, cuz it comes with an actual photo attached to the album cover.  Had to frame it.

The new Pissed Jeans album fucking wails.  Loving it so far, and this new video is pretty hilarious.

A pretty laid back long weekend, which is always nice.  Not too much went on other than a bunch of CD organizing, Liams ninth birthday party (NINE?!?!), some hangs with Treephones, and a trip to the Apollo to see 20th Century Women.

I have a crazy amount of double cds.

Snagged a bunch of CDs this weekend.  Couple Ramones, two Grandaddy CDs (hence the post title), and the latest Brian Jonestown Massacre

I went to see this movie at the Apollo Saturday night.  It was really great.  Best movie I have seen in a while, mostly due to one of the best soundtracks I have heard in years.

This whole winter thing is starting to get a little long in the tooth, which leads me to day dream about summer nights in the backyard.  Already thinking of double features to show back there with the new high definition projector.

Higher Learning and PCU are two 90s college based films, but its debatable which one is funnier (Higher Learning is not a comedy).
