Spent the better part of the weekend finishing up the basement from the shitty pipe that overflowed in the basement last Sunday.  Save for a handful of floor planks, and baseboards, I am just about done.  I slept like a baby Saturday night.

I am thankful for being on the Joyful Noise mailing list, as I just got an email last week telling me that they have a new Jason Loewenstein 7" release, as well as a new album coming out!  I was talking to Kurt last week as well, asking him if there were any updates on the album on Jason's Facebook page.  There was not.


I ordered this minutes after getting that email, and it already arrived at my door.

I have had Cyanide Breath Mint stuck in my head all month it seems, so it was good to finally find a used copy of One Foot in the Grave at my beloved Encore.

Thankfully the time has sprung forward an hour, which means I no longer have to burn food in the pitch black of night while BBQing.  So to celebrate I fired up some See Dubs.

I took part in Gary's yearly Grindhahs movie marathon by doing a simulcast.  It was good times, with some good flicks.  No one showed up, but the bright side is I have enough food for the rest of the week now.

I finally got around to ordering some of these awesome glasses from Bearface.  Turns out the dude lives a couple blocks from my house, and I was able to just pick them up from his front porch on the way to work.  I have always loved the City of Waterloo sign  on King St, so its great to have it on this beer glass.  I might have to buy some more.

Gary is holding his yearly Grindhaauus film festival this Saturday, where he picks 10 flicks, and they run all day starting at 11am.  I have created another poster for the event, and will hopefully do a simulcast with them.   Perhaps I will break in my new projector for this day, along with some chicken wingies!
