Axl and I spent all day Saturday biking around Toronto Island which was pretty amazing because the whole place was more or less free of people. The recent floods have shut down the island, but since "we knew someone who owned a house" there, we were able to go on a little adventure. It was surreal.
I filmed a bunch of footage as well, so I hope to cut together a little video soon.

After work Friday I had a huge craving for a backyard fire pit and something made in one of our pie irons. I decided it was pizza pocket time. After that I basically just passed out on the couch watching the Anthony Jeselnik stand up again. Saturday I went to see some pals in Toronto, and the plan was to meet Axl at Woodbine as his horse was racing. It wasn't until I got in that parking lot that I checked my phone to see Axhole couldnt make it. I had to piss real bad so I decided to go in and watch his horse come in dead last, by a long shot. Glad I didnt make that bet.
Hung out with Kroopa, Orso and Axl all night. Tunes and beerce. Good times.
Sunday I came home to see snow everywhere. We had our usual Sunday night bbq. It was good.
Monday came too soon.
I have been cranking Ween all week, and this weekend I was really diggin The Pod.

Friday night we had some people over and watched a backyard movie, Club Dread. Took it rather easy knowing we had to to a shit load of stuff the next day before hitting Toronto for Jeremy's going away party. Laura and I packed a cooler and went to Jeremy's, and then walked to Axls house. We hung out, cranked tunes, and had a BBQ. Once Axl went to bed around 1, we went upstairs and partied with Scotty and Katlynne til about 4am. Too fun. The next day Laura and I hit the Grand River to go Canoeing. Super fun weekend. Crashed HARD Sunday though.

Gary came this Canada Day weekend and we rocked out hard. We all took a limo Thursday night to the Headstones show in Toronto. Total blast. Rocked out Friday despite the insane rain fall. Saturday we hit the TFC "cracker." Sunday we had the Blister Fist BBQ. Way too much fun, but by Sunday I was so burnt out and bloated. Love my Gare Bear.
