A couple of weekends ago I had a movie night out back with the classic film Race with the Devil.

 KTG came by last weekend and it was an unseasonably warm October night so we hit up a backyard feature.  This time it was It Follows, a new halloween staple. 

 

It was time that John Hughes made his Shady Lane Drive-In appearance so I went with two AMH classics.  Weird Science was the first film, and co worker Alex popped by for some Bill Paxton laughs.  I was too tired to stick out the second feature of Sixteen Candles though. 

 

Saturday was the first truly nice warm day in the last 5 months, so i spent the entire time in the backyard.  By nightfall I joined the Pittsburgh crew by synching Dawn of the Dead with Like A Bastard Drive In.

I am working on this summers backyard drive in preshow and intermissions, and decided to have some fun with the old Dolby Sound bumper, and recreated it.
