My last concert before the pandemic was GBV in Detroit 2019. First show back was same town in 2022 for the Weens.
Attempts were made to create a list of GBV shows that I have attended. My memory is completely horrible, and GBVDB may not have a complete list of concerts, but this is what I got. 34 concerts, give or take.
And I called myself a fan, pfft.

We hit the Mudhoney show, and checked out the two opening bands as well (The Gotobeds, Kid Congo). All three bands fkn ruled. We also spotted Kim from Soundgarden in the lobby area before the show which was wild. He later came out for the Mudhoney encore.
Check out Pittsburghs own The Gotobeds. They ripped! I FINALLY got to witness Dan Peters in action. One of my fave drummers ever. BONUS JAM. Crank this classic Pollard jam with Peters on the skins.

After going to see Ween for the first time in Pittsburgh this past weekend, my bucket list is no complete! What a fucking amazing show. Gary and I also spend the day doing out Hess Fest Breakfast Film Fest. Three David Hess classics, and some food. Then Gary, Jess and I hit up Stage AE, an amazing outdoor venue in the heart of Pittsburgh. No better place to see my first Ween show.

I have been a huge Ween fan since High School, and Friday will by my first time ever seeing them in the city of brotherly love, Pittsburgh! This is indeed a tender situation.
