Pissed Jeans LP has been on the platter all week, but I finally have the CD, which is what really matters. The Brid never sounded better than when Junktime was cranked.

 Matador has finally gotten around to releasing the deluxe version of Terror Twilight, thus completing their reissue series. Why it cost 140 bucks for the 4LP set is beyond me, but I guess thats the way of the world these days. 

 

 Scored the new Protomartyr album from the 'Core, and it wails. Buy it!

Just hit the 'Core for a couple compact disc scores.   

My beloved Encore stocked up on the new Malkmus record. These are the good times!

I scored the new JEFF The Brotherhood CD at Encore this week.  Been digging it.  Gone are the straight up rockers, and in it;s place are mid tempo jams.  My kind of fall firepit chunes.

Chris from my beloved Encore Records handed me a roll of Matador promo posters.  I will be buying a frame for that Jicks one today.  Love it!

This new GBV has been in heavy rotation since it leaked onto the internets.  I can safely say this is my favourite GBV album since Earthquake Glue.  So damn great.  The New Classic Lineup is here.

Kurt rolled into town on Friday night where we had a classic YouTube tune party.  Saturday morning he wanted a tour of KW before taking off for Toronto, so we hit breakie at Yeti, Encore Records, X Disc See, Settlement Co., Abe Erb, and then hit uptown for Orange Monkey, DVLB and finished it off with a meat/cheese board at the White Rabbit.  I couldn't help but think how much more fun this would have been once the LRT is up and running.




We also celebrated this little mans big birthday.  10 years.  WTF.

  I snagged a couple CDs today using a gift cert that Tonz got me from the mighty Encore.  The Drag Cities put out two new albums today from No Age and Ty Segall, which is super sweet.  I just hope for financial reasons that 2018's output isn't as insane at 2017, but one month in and its looking like trouble.

I swung by the Encores at lunch time to score the new Kurt Vile/Courtney Barnett compact disc, and they also happened to have the new King Gizzard cd.  My new CD pile is getting too big in the car.

Snagged some more CDs from my sweet Encore.  There have been so many albums released this year, that I fear how shitty 2018 will be,

Spent most of this weekend (including Monday) sick on the couch.  However I did manage a couple firepit cookouts.


I picked up a couple of jams from Encore on Friday.  The two new Kurt Vile reissues as well as Reverse Shark Attack from Ty Segall & Mikal Cronin.
