Gary came this Canada Day weekend and we rocked out hard. We all took a limo Thursday night to the Headstones show in Toronto. Total blast. Rocked out Friday despite the insane rain fall. Saturday we hit the TFC "cracker." Sunday we had the Blister Fist BBQ. Way too much fun, but by Sunday I was so burnt out and bloated. Love my Gare Bear.
Holy fuck. Headstones Friday night. Blew me, and us away, as usual. Zaps, Chadilac, Six Pack, Jaybo, Krazy, Ton Cold and Ned. Still one of the best live bands around. Hugh Dillon is top five front men ever. FKYAH!
OBTAINED: Circa 2002, Ned or Tonys wardrobe STORY: A NICKELS FOR YOUR NIGHTMARES era t shirt. The front used to say HEADSTONES, and still does I suppose, so long as you look close enough. The only proof its a Headstones shirt is the www.headstones.com printed on the sleeve, and the extremely faded "Nickels for your Nightmares" on the back under the neck. WEAR: Love this shirt. Its beaten up, sun bleached, black, and ripped.
So it has been a week since we saw Headstones in St Catherines (Thursday) and in Toronto (Saturday). I have finally recovered enough from liver damage to post some pics. It was so fucking good to see the Stones back in action. Like they never missed a beat.
I will take Hughs word for it and "see them next year."
