We hit up Baby Driver on the weekend, and while I did like it, I think I overhyped it for myself. I am glad its doing really well as I love Edgar Wright. The opening scene was pretty awesome, but mostly because it was cut to The Jon Spencer Blues Explosion classic Bell Bottoms. I busted out my JSBX cds all weekend.
I have worked here at PineLake going on 6 years now, maybe 7? I cant even keep count anymore. I have worked on a buttload of projects over the years so I am pretty proud of this showreel. I was tasked with whipping together a short and sweet showreel, showcasing some of our projects. I cut it to The Jon Spencer Blues Explosion, which I think made the whole thing pretty fun.
This is the first true showreel that we have uploaded I think, so I am super pumped that some of the stuff I have spent years working on is finally out there for others to see.
The Jon Spencer Blues Explosion have a new album coming out, and this first tune is pretty killer. The video showing all things NYC is pretty damn amazing as well. Crank it.
