Matador has finally gotten around to releasing the deluxe version of Terror Twilight, thus completing their reissue series. Why it cost 140 bucks for the 4LP set is beyond me, but I guess thats the way of the world these days. 

SM is back with a new album/single/video, and I am LOVING it.  Biased? Sure, but this tune rules.  Excited to hear this album and see this tour.


This video is really great, reworking old SM and Pavement videos, as well as some killer cameos!

I cant think of a better thing to listen to during the fall than a brand spankin new Kurt Vile album.

Matador Records just posted this photo on the Instagrams saying "the people have spoken."  I may totally be reading into this, but I am going to take it as these are the master tapes to their two incredible albums, which will be rereleased on vinyl.  I have been waiting so long for this day, as I refused to pay the high prices of the original releases.


In other Chavez news, the new show Silicon Valley, which I already love, used a Chavez song in its pilot episode.  I just found out now that the Chavez guitarist actually writes for the show!

Bones and Tara moved out, and took almost all the furniture.  We had to get a fuck load of stuff from Ikea on the weekend.  I am pretty stoked to get my TV off of the ground, and hook up my record player again.

I hope I get a sweet sweet package in the mail today with a Matador stamp on it. Got the vinyl of the new TNV album, which comes with a poster, and two 7"s. Way too jackt.
