Pissed Jeans LP has been on the platter all week, but I finally have the CD, which is what really matters. The Brid never sounded better than when Junktime was cranked.

Had a sweet score at the 'Core this past friday.  New Pissed Jeans and King Gizzard, as well as the latest Mike Krol album.  The Pissed Jeans cover is especially awesome, cuz it comes with an actual photo attached to the album cover.  Had to frame it.

Oh baby, a night little surprise this morning when I learned that there is a brand new Pissed Jeans album coming out in the new year.  This new jam rips.

Sub Pop has just reissued the debut album from Pissed Jeans, and they made a video for the killer jam BORING GIRLS.  Crank this shits. Buy this shits.  I am making a trip to Orange Monkey post work.



UPDATE:  I hit up my beloved Encore friday night and picked up this slab of vinyl for 20 buck.  Piss yellow vinyl.

The Bronx social club single.  I got this rare one from Joby the guitarist himself after I did their video for Past Lives.

I LOVE this single.  Pavements B Sides are just as good as their A Sides, and this one is no different.  Strings of Nashville is way too great.  This is probably my favourite Pavement 7" cover art.

This is the Pissed Jeans single for Sam Kinison Woman. This song has to be on my Top 10 tunes ever.  I have listened to it a million times and never get sick of it

There seems to be a killer show brewing at Sneaky Dees tonight. Pissed Jeans who I really would love to see, and opening is Anagram. I am pretty sure Ned asked me to go to Oshawa once to see this band play the opening of a new bar, but that fell through or some shit. Either way, as badly as I want to see these bands, I am still not sure its worth the drive to Toronto. There are few things worse than driving to Toronto on a Friday night. I would rather get analy raped by an octopus, than deal with the insane Friday traffic. We will see though...

Pissed Jeans are one of those "holy fuck Jesus Lizard are the best band on planet fucking earth" type bands. You can hear the influence, which is a damn good thing.
