Saturday was the first truly nice warm day in the last 5 months, so i spent the entire time in the backyard. By nightfall I joined the Pittsburgh crew by synching Dawn of the Dead with Like A Bastard Drive In.
The lineup for next springs April Ghouls Drive-In Monstarama is slowly being announced. So far 4 films have been announced, which are Evil Dead, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Zombie and the classic Dawn of the Dead. Gary has already set this weekend in his iCal so its official.
I have been killing time during work renders photoshopping my own poster for this event. I am not finished so I am not sure why I would post it now, but I will work on it more, and add more films as they are announced.

During last nights episode of The Walking Dead a very familiar zombie walked onto the screen. Only dorks like me would have spotted this one, but this zombie was made up and dressed exactly like the airport zombie in the 1978 classic Dawn of the Dead. I was giddy when that fucker walked on screen.
Its starting to feel a bit like Halloween! I love this time of year. GIDDY!
Gary emailed me a video of him watching The Mutilator and laughing his ass off. I need to get this flick.
