I found out this weekend that Laura had not seen IT before, so last night we threw in part 1.  I used to watch this movie just about every other weekend back in the day, and while it has its flaws, I still love it.

While on the topic of movies and tapes, I made another trip to Hespler Villiage to check out The Vault.  I have not been there in months, maybe a year, as I am trying to curb my spending on such things.  Zack the owner is always a nice dude and gives me deals so I picked up two movies for 10 bucks, and that was a steal.  Great shop.

I finally got my hands on the screen printed version of the Uncle Bad Touch debut.  Great album, and I am bummed they are no longer around.

Last night I tried to fire up the grill to cook up some chicken, and came back to a grill that was on fire, and the bottom of the grill had bottomed out.  I shut off the propane in fear it would explode, and out of frustration I found as much wood as I could find and fire up the firepit to cook our meal.  Realizing how warm it was outside got me stoked (no pun intended) for backyard hangs and movies.


There is one Friday the 13th this year and its in May, so we will be having our second Friday the 13th night out back.  This time it will be two of my faves, Part 4: The Final Chapter, and Part 8: Jason Takes Manhattan.

Che chee  chee haa haaa haaa

I bought that Filmic Pro app for my iPhone because I wanted to shoot some footage in 24fps but I didn't want to splurge on an expensive camera.  I shot some test footage to try to get the hang of all the settings.

Woke up just in time to see Hesher leap onto my CD shelf.  She knows where the good stuff is.

I was able to synch up several films this weekend with the Pittsburgh crew during Gary's annual Grindhahs movie marathon.  I caught They Call Her Cleopatra Wong and part of The Thing With Two Heads before heading out to go bowling with the kids.  I made it home in time for a good chunk of Rolling Thunder, which is an amazing film.

The Sinful Dwarf was a weird one, and a borderline porno.  Pretty funny.

We sat down for a steak dinner while watching Black Caesar, and then Bones showed up for half of Raw Force.

Good times, but I would love to hit up Beaver St. some time to do it up right!
