I hit up the Encores at lunch and picked up these two classic soundtracks.  The Serpentine Pad just got a little more funky.

Fans of the Beastie Boys classic Eggman will dig this jam.

This blew my mind!! Seth Rogan, Will Arnett, Danny McBride, Jack Black, Will Farell, Ted Danson, etc etc etc!!

So good.

The Gothamist [via The Daily Swarm] reports that the Manhattan spot that was iconically featured on the cover of the Beasties' 1989 album Paul's Boutique went up in smoke sometime around 8:30 p.m. Luckily no injuries have been reported. However, it's unclear how much damage was caused by the fire, though according to one eye witness, "It just burned down."

Though forever linked to hip-hop's history, the building was currently operating as a restaurant called Three Monkeys. It's unclear whether or not the trio of simians are, in fact, brass monkeys.
