Its done!  Saturday was the first nice weekend in a month, so I peeled myself off of Axls couch early in the morning, and booked it home.  The first coat of polyurethane was done by 11am, and the second coat was finished around 3.  By 7pm the wheels were put on, and the table was brought in.  I realized the table is a little short, so I might take Pappa B's advice and return the wheels I have on there now, and get ones that are a couple inches taller.

Last night Laura and I hit up the Depot and I bought some Espresso wood stain and some semi-gloss sealer.  I did a quick stain test at lunch and I gotta say, it looks pretty bad ass.  I am going to try a second coat when I get home to see how much darker it gets.  I might just settle for one coat as it looks rather nice as it is.

Due to our lack of garage (AKA Carhold), I am at the mercy of Mother Nature as to when I can work on this damn thing.  Unfortunately I wasn't able to finish it this weekend as I had hoped as we had a wedding on Saturday, and shitty weather on Sunday.  I did manage to get some work on it done pre wedding, by sanding and nailing down the top surface of the table.  I hope to finish sanding, and start staining this week and or weekend.

In an effort to make most of the nice weather, and to get my ass off our couch, I decided to try to make one of those pallet coffee tables that I keep seeing online.  I drove around and found some skids and started taking it apart with my trusty hammer yesterday.  I got a lot done, and the basic look of what I want is pretty much done, but now I have to sand and stain and screw it all together.
