On Saturday afternoon, Jim, Jess and I hit up the new Evil Dead movie. To be honest it was average. I didnt mind it, but I by no means loved it. One of those movies where you watch it, but have no intention of watching it again or buying it. There was gore galore, but had no soul...ironically.
On the way home we found some weird comic shop that is set up in what looks like an old garage/storage unit. We walked in and were pretty blown away by how packed it was. I need to go back and score some of these GoreZone magazines.
After that I met up with Scotty at Beertown for some high priced beerce.

I just found out about this little horror shop in Cambridge called THE VAULT. This guy carries nothing but horror dvds, vhs, blu rays, posters, laser discs, soundtracks, etc. I was in geek heaven. His prices are pretty damn awesome too. I think I just found my second favourite store!
I really need to get a new shelf for all my horror flicks.
I found my drum stick collection at my folks place during Easer weekend dinner. Some great shit in there. The majority of which are made up of GBV (Kevin March), and C'mon (RAAAANDDDY!!!) sticks.
Most notable however is the Thrush Hermit stick that was signed by the whole band, and where Ian signed it as Neil Peart back in '95. As well as a Dave Lombardo stick that he handed me during a Fantomas show. That fucker was a thick as a tree and he still broke it.
