I own 8 Steve Keene Pavement paintings, and believe it or not, I ran out of room at home for them. I took Terror Twilight and my second Slanted and Enchanted, and put them up in my office. Looks so good up there.
Here is a deleted scene from the soon to be released documentary on Mudhoney. This clip talks about their appearance in the movie Black Sheep.
Not many bands around like these guys. Fucking love them.
I love my soccer celebrations, and I love my After Effects. Match made in heaven.
Amazing track from their amazing new album.
HEY NOW!!!!!! Look at this! It looks like Drag City is releasing a "new" Silver Jews CD/Vinyl/Cassette (I will take one of each please!). They have taken the long out of print ARIZONA RECORD and DIME MAP OF THE REEF records and released them as one package. This is pretty damn great, considering I was thinking of biting the bullet and spending a lot of money on each of those albums.
Here is a sample tune, which I have loved for years. There is even a wicked Pavemement version of this song which can be found on the Slanted and Enchanted reissue.
My only beef you ask? I wish they used the cover of the ARIZONA RECORD instead of the DIME MAP... one. I love my Steve Keene art. Who knows though, I am sure this art will be represented as well.
PRE ORDER HERE.
Jim and I joked around about this movie. So much so that I actually got excited to watch it, even after reading how HORRIBLE it is. I ended up getting sucked in to how ridiculous this movie is, so much so that I put it on when I went to bed Saturday, and ended up staying up until 3am to finish watching it. If you want one of those movies where you just get pissed off at the characters and want to yell at your TV, then fire up this movie.
Like....its 3 people vs one dude in a parka. How could you not get out of there?
One of the millions of questions you will have if you watch this movie.

I love this fkn tune. I bought this album about 2 years ago when I walked into Orange Monkey, and talked to the dude that works there. He told me I should buy this album cuz its awesome and I would love it. He was right. I had no doubt.
This weekend was pretty fun for the simple fact that we did almost nothing. After a couple of big trips, and a broken car, I needed a weekend off from spending. Friday night Jim, Jess, Dave and Kate came and hung out with Laura and I. Drinks and patio and firepit and tunes.
Saturday we finally got a BBQ. The big issue however, was that the box would not fit in the clown car. I had the bright idea of opening the box at the store and putting in all the pieces of the BBQ into my car. The problem is we sliced our hands open on the sharp metal edge of the BBQ. We got it home though, so that is good.
I got more patio lights.
I ate watermellon and watched old 90210 episodes on Netflix. Valerie Malone, my first true love.
Took almost two fkn hours, but the BBQ is now up and running.
The cut.
The repair.
The next day.
I got my Mr Bungle tape in the mail!
After talking to Nick in Pitts about the bands Love and Death, I got all jackt and threw on my Death vinyl. Good rock record.
I cranked Chavez. These are the days I am happy there is no one living below us anymore.
I also got some vinyl in the mail. The Men 7" from the Matador Singles Club, as well as another Discogs.com find, On Top by Rye Coalition. INCREDIBLE album. I cannot believe I found it for 8 bucks. So happy.
Framed some posters I bought at Monroeville Mall.
Once they were almost human!
Tony just sent me two songs from the "Million Dollar Demo" by Foo Fighters. The album that was scrapped before they made One By One (my fave Foo album). The one song is Come Back, which is one of the best songs on that album. This version however is VERY different. I still dig the one that made it to the album more, but this version is pretty kick ass.
Blown away that they played STOP COMING TO MY HOUSE. One of my favourite tunes. Hope they play it in Toronto next month!
I made a short video of our trip to Monroeville Mall, the film location of the classic Dawn of the Dead!
While on this "dead" theme, I will repost our trip to the Night of the Living Dead cemetery last year.

Gary and Jess had a cooler full of booze. Mmmm.
First night patio rock out. A good game of iDrunk.
Saturday morning. Great way to start the day.
At the Double Wide Grill before the soccer game. Amazing food, kick ass patio, and crazy ass drinks.
Pipers was full, again, so we hit up Primantis next door.
Nick was so fired up for the game. I love that guy.
Jess contemplating getting a lip ring.

Pile of snacks for the Like A Bastard Drive In.
Tripod brought these speakers from work. So amazing.
Gary got me a shirt from the Pissed Jeans show he went to. So awesome.
House before the Like A Bastard set up.
After. Bed sheet nailed to the wall. Speakers set up.
New piercing.
Laura drinking an infamous Jessica mixed drink.
Stiffler with the best seat in the house.
So much food. Downed 4 hot dogs myself.
Gary frying up some dogs.
Previews!
The 3rd bonus feature for those who wanted to stick around. Wet Hot American Summer.
Took at walk to Sewickly on Sunday afternoon.
Hit up this AMAZING pub that served all Belgian beer. Fucking LOVED it. Mondays you get a pint and keep the glass, and Laura really wanted to go back to get one so we hit it up Monday for one last drink before the drive home.
GREAT beer.
Took a Sunday trip to the mighty Monroville Mall. The filming location of Dawn of the Dead!
The Zombie Museum.
Gary walking by the famous JC Penney store.
