I found a box of 7"s at the Orange Monkeys and decided to thumb through.  Just as I was reaching the end, and about to put the box back on the shelf, I hit the W's and saw one of my bucketlist 7"s, Ween's Gabrielle single, with an amazing screen printed cover.   "We have had that forever" says Charles.  Dangit.

I also snagged the 7" boxset of the early Dino J. singles for a sale  price of 35 bucks.



Other than that highlight of the weekend, there were wingies and Hesher hangs.

  I snagged a couple CDs today using a gift cert that Tonz got me from the mighty Encore.  The Drag Cities put out two new albums today from No Age and Ty Segall, which is super sweet.  I just hope for financial reasons that 2018's output isn't as insane at 2017, but one month in and its looking like trouble.

Paul contacted me about doing a movie poster for his short film, and had an idea to rework an old Elvis On Tour poster.  Here is the finished design.

Katie and Greame and I hit up the new Pin Up Arcade in Waterloo, and I LOVED it.  Great spot, with a 5 buck cover for all the games you can play.  Ordered some Frat Burger that they deliver to you, and the beer was good.  Not just all local fancy beer either. 

I cannot wait to go back.

I forgot that I had a project file going for a video of my trip to Pittsburgh this past October.  Here it is.

Holiday break is over, and I am a beached whale.  Christmas was fun/cold.  Chicago was fun/cold.  GBV was amazing that one night that I remember.  I wish I had more pictures, but iPhone is a piece of shit.
