I sold the bass and bought this old stereo from the Kijiji's. I wanted a different model Marantz, but people these days think they have gold, and therefore their pricing is a little out of hand. This dude however sold a receiver, two tape decks, and a turntable for a reasonable price. Sounding pretty sweet, but I realize I probably dont need three record players in the house now.
I finally scored a copy of SubURbia on VHS. One of my few Gen X white whales. This also happens to have one of the better soundtracks of the day, with Sonic Youth (who also did the score), and the classic X cover by Elastica and Stephen Malkmus.
