January brings depleted bank accounts, and over extended credit cards. It also means bday gift certs and cash burgers. Scored a couple of new and older albums for the collection.
GBV is throwing a little contest this week where you create your own interpretation of a cover for SWPF using their graphic element. Here is what I ended up with.
For some reason the mail came on Sunday (bday), and I finally received my new Cribs kit. I have become obsessed with their latest album, and as with just about everyone of their albums its a ripper and a classic.
Alex was night enough to drop off some extra wood conditioner and stain for me to finish off my bathroom shelves. Turned out pretty not bad!
It has been literally a year now since we finished this album art, and its only now going to print. I am pretty happy with how this turned out, but still nervous about what the final print will look like.
I was moving some casette, when this piece of paper fell out of my copy of Local Rabbits' You Cant Touch This. This is a lineup sheet of all the bands that played that day in 1995. My first concert ever, and Sloans "last". I had this signed by McGetts of Thrush Hermit.
