If I were to make a list of the craziest and most unexpected finds at Value Villlage, this would be near the top. I spotted that beautiful Murderecords logo, and figured I just had to slap down 99 cents for this EP.
I am getting slightly excited for the Thrush Hermit show this October. Sweet Homewrecker was cranked loudly both last night, and on the way to work this morning.
I am still trying to find my Sebadoh zippo, and while I cannot locate it, I am finding some other gems. The case is missing, but I still have the cassette for Smart Bomb by the mighty Thrush Hermit.
The Eric's Trip discography has been riding shotgun with me all week. Love Tara is a full on obsession now.
FINALLY! The Murderecords book is for sale on the Sloan website. Up next, I hope, is the Super Friendz reissue of Mock Up Scale Down.
I WANT I WANT I WANT I WANT. This shit better not sell out at that Sloan/Super Friendz show. I need to get my hands on that Super Friendz vinyl like you cant believe.

One of my all time fave shirts growing up was my green Murderecords T Shirt which John Rous got at Edge Fest 95, and traded with me two years later when I had a Matador Records shirt that I found in the Encore Records free bin. Needless to say I wore that fucker to death, and I really miss it. Since I took up silk screening as my new hobby, I figure I can recreate it. Here I am in the middle of re creating the chest logo. EXCITED!
iTunes on shuffle and this song came on, and forgot how good it is. I fucking miss the old Murderecords days.
