I am taking another stab at this Cinema 4D logo animation for Friday the 13th. I made one years ago, but decided to play around with 3D some more. This isn't finished yet, as I want to have some blood slowly pour out of the "TH" and have it run down the 3.
Here is a render of my work desk animation. I am having problems with the light causing some flickering which I would like to fix, but for now here it is.
I have started work on this little 3D recreating of my work desk. I hope to have a final animation where the sun cylces though the entire day. Below are some test screenshots

Here are some reference images. I still want to model the chords, speakers, and such.
I really need to force myself to use Cinema 4D more often, if for nothing else, text effects. I feel that I am lagging behind other motion graphics people due to my complete lack of C4D knowledge.
I whipped up this animation real quick by starting easy and using a simple extruded text effect to recreate the opening title card of Friday the 13th. I added my own little twist to it, but you get the idea.
As a "Motion Graphics Designer" I have always felt down about not knowing anything about 3D animation, so I am teaching myself Cinema 4D when I have spare time. Here are two things I worked on this week after following a Greyscale Gorilla tutorial. I hope to play with this program a lot more and get better at it.
These animations are very basic, and I am sure in a years time I will be embarrassed by how bad they are, but for now I am really excited about what you can do with this program. I feel I have reached the peak of my After Effects skills, so I need to learn this shit.
I am in the middle of my very first Cinema 4D creation. I am going to try to recreate the opening credits of Halloween in Cinema 4D with post in After Effects.
