Last night I threw on the Home Alone 2 while Laura did some work reading, which worked out as Laura hates the sequel. After that we put on the first two Christmas Specials from The Office. This show will never not be funny.
I have always been upset that I bought the blue coloured ProJect record player. I literally had the piano black in my hand, and at the last minute I changed my mind to the blue. I regret it to this day, until my recent three week obsession with the Weens. I realized that blue is pretty close to the blue on the first Ween album. So I whipped up a graphic the next day, and ordered a slip mat from the internets. I am waiting by the door like a puppy dog.
I created both pink on blue, and blue on pink. I put it to a vote and blue on pink won out. Below are both of the images I made should any Ween fan out there want to do the same. Any website that creates slipmats should accept these images.
Our X-Mas film fest goes on with last nights viewing of the classic Home Alone. This movie still holds up, and its still a fun watch. Watching it last night I recalled having this movie poster that came with the VHS copy back in the 90s that Momma B got for me. I found it on the Googles.
Well the weather outside is weather, so Laura and I with the help of Vanessa set out to get this years Serpentine Pad Tree! We picked a good one, I have to say, and our house smells awesome.
Also this weekend I got to have some beerce with Blair from Edmonton, and I hit up Encore and Orange Monkey to pick up some Ty Segalls.
Other than that, it was really low key and spend free.
Its December, so starts our yearly holiday film series. We started off with one of our favourite comedies that takes place during Christmas - Trading Places. This is Eddie Murphy at his best. He kills me in just about every scene.
