This past Wednesday we hit up the long awaited Foo Fighters show. A ticket that Tony got me for my birthday. It was beyond fun. My throat was fucked the next day. These are the only shots I took right at the end. Great times.
Holy crap. I was skeptical. Dave has a way of building up a lot of what he does (it does usually live up to the hype), but this looks like a whole new level of awesome. I cannot fucking wait to see this now, and I cannot wait to hear the new album. This looks legendary.
I am especially pumped to see the Albini and Ian MacKaye segments.
I just found out about this whole ALS ice bucket challenge thing. Bill the Bossman just emailed me this link. The Foos clearly have the best ice bucket video ever.
This is a pretty great clip from the Funny or Die people. Sub Pop held auditions for the Postal Service singer. For the indie nerds out there there are some amazing cameos. The drummer of Superchunk. Duff from Guns. Nate from Foo. Weird Al, etc. Give it a watch.

Can't believe they played this. Dave Grohl pumps me up....as does this tune.
We took a little trip through Warren Ohio. This is an excerpt from the GBV road trip documentary YINZ TO KEEP.

Tony emailed us this link to the Foos playing Exhausted at the Reading Festival. I fucking love this song. Easily one of my favourite Foo tracks.
Not many bands around like these guys. Fucking love them.
Tony just sent me two songs from the "Million Dollar Demo" by Foo Fighters. The album that was scrapped before they made One By One (my fave Foo album). The one song is Come Back, which is one of the best songs on that album. This version however is VERY different. I still dig the one that made it to the album more, but this version is pretty kick ass.
