I keep trying to figure out the best way to use this Filmic Pro app by playing with the settings. Exposure and shutter speeds are so foreign to me so its been fun trying to figure this out. I took some footage out back, again, and brought it into Premiere to test out some of the Red Giant Film presets.
I bought that Filmic Pro app for my iPhone because I wanted to shoot some footage in 24fps but I didn't want to splurge on an expensive camera. I shot some test footage to try to get the hang of all the settings.
During my walk through the Cemetery this Sunday, I filmed a bunch of stuff on the old iPhone. I wanted to play around with colour grading and see what I can do with that, so I have a faux Italian giallo type credit sequence in the works right now. Here are some current screenshots, which of course will change.
