So it would seem that BGO now sells cassettes, this is a blessing and a curse as I can now hopefully restock those tapes that I once had but gave away, but I also don't need more things to buy. Regardless, I was shaking when I found that Ween tape.
Treephones has been working every morning at 8am, so I dont feel bad about cranking the stereo while I get ready for work. I threw in my Do The Collapse tape and have been cranking it every morning. Such a great album, especially Hold on Hope.

Two mixed tapes that I made are currently on our coffee table for the season. One is the Silent Night Bastard Night VHS mixed tape, which is a collection of classic Christmas slashers. The other newly made tape is a cassette mix of Christmas Chunes.
Come on by to the Serpentine Pad on Christmas Eve for a listen, a watch and some pops!
I just got a copy of Terror Twilight and Westing this week on cassette, so my Pavement tape collection is just about complete. I do have Wowee Zowee on tape, sans case, but that is because it is Ned's copy. So I did not include that one in this post.
I found this awesome store in the town of LaSalle while search Kijiji a while back. I always had it in the back of my mind to check this store out when I was in town. This is basically some dudes house that has been converted into a kick ass vintage store. Every square inch was covered in vinyl, tapes, posters, record players, magazines, toys etc. Imagine someone went to every Value Village and put just the really cool shit in one spot. I spent over an hour in here as it would take all day to look through everything. I ended up not buying anything, as I am really trying to curb my record spending, but it also made it easier to not buy anything because of the prices on some of the albums. Some of the stuff was pretty rare, but spending over 40 bucks on an album is something I totally refuse to do anymore. Its just insane. As much as I always wanted White Zombie's Astro Creep, there is no way I am going to pay 95 bucks for it. Thats just insane.
Some good tunes are rolling out this fall season. I have Faith No More's Album of the Year on order which I am super stoked about. I am also waiting for my vinyl and cassette copies of the new Sebadoh. These are the good times.
