Whenever I need to kill some time (usually waiting for Laura to get ready) I will throw on the watchmojo.com playlist on my Apple TV.  Watch Mojo puts out daily Top 10 lists that usually have to do with music, film or pop culture in general.  Great and fun way to kill time, as well as reminding me to check out some films.  I watched this one yesterday (while waiting for Laura to get ready), and we laughed at how awesome this list is.  Just about every band mentioned on here are bands that we listen to at the Serpentine Pad. A lot of, if not all of my favourite bands (except for Faith No More) are in this list.

Yesterday was Tiffany's Birthday and Laura wanted to make something nice for her sister.  She went through old photos and we scanned them, and then made this video for Tiff.

31 Days of Halloween continued this weekend with A Nightmare on Elm Street.  I don't know why all of a sudden the Elm St films are being screened, as I never particularity loved them, but I figure its Halloween so why not revisit them.  Part 1 is ok, but I still love part 2 more.

Mogwai has unleashed a new song from a new EP coming out called MUSIC INDUSTRY 3.  FINTESS INDUSTRY 1.

After a couple of listens I am already loving it.  I did not really get too into their last album Rave Tapes (save for a couple of tracks), but again it is Mogwai, so it could take up to 4 years to truly get into the album.  This song was written at the same time as Rave Tapes, but its just a shame it didnt make the cut.

Halloween month is here, and as such I try to do a horror film a night.  Realistic? no, but I will try.  Last night I started with this classic Freddy film, A Nightmare on Elm Street Part 2.  Probably the most ridiculous of them all, with its bad 80s cloths and its hilarious gay undertones.  I also believe that the only time Freddy has actually scared me was in this movie, during the pool party scene where he is looking through the fire.  So creepy.


If I had to pick which Elm St is my favourite, I think it would have to be this one.  Totally fun.
