For old times sake, Pawel, Erin, Liana and I met up at the Grill for a going away lunch for Pawel, who is moving to Vancouver. This was our main lunch spot back in the day. I even had my old Beer and Baco-Breakfast lunch combo.
Our work took us to Wonderland on Friday and it was beyond amazing. I have become a Wonderland hater over the years due to being extremely spoiled by Cedar Point. Thankfully the Cedar Group bought Wonderland and have been getting some real rides back in that park. We also got a Fast Lane pass which is better than it sounds. You literally walk down a different line up, straight to the front, and right onto the ride. Within the first 20 minutes in the park we rode the new Leviathan ride twice. Fucking amazing.

This is probably one of my favorite pictures I have taken. The shadows are totally cool, and then you realize the smoking shadow behind Chris is on the wrong side. It turns out its the shadow of a different person in the same post. I love it. Total fluke.
Got to go to another work trip, this time to Toronto where we set up shop on the 21st floor of a hotel overlooking City Hall. Fun times...minus the broken AC. It felt like lunch time on Sunday at my folks house. A constant, ball dripping, 24 degrees. The midnight walk through the rain to the pub made me feel like a million bucks though, as did hearing Malkmus at the bar.
So I used a Diamond Nights song in a video I made at work. Long story short, Liana was always in touch with the singer and without me knowing, tried to get me some vinyl or some sort of treat from this band I love. Today she handed me a tube, and inside is this hand made piece of art that the singer Morgan made for me! THIS KICKS SO MUCH ASS!!!!
